Rich Rojeck has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional certification and has over 40 years of experience in developing and helping implement comprehensive financial plans that integrate financial independence analysis, estate and business succession planning, investment and risk management, and more.
Prior to beginning his financial planning practice, Rich served for six years as a commissioned Naval officer, including four years of shipboard service and two years as an instructor at the Surface Warfare Officers School in San Diego.
Rich served on the national board of the International Association for Financial Planning from 1992-1999 and was its chairman in 1999. In 2010, Rich was elected to the board of the CFP Board of Standards, the standards setting and certifying body for Certified Financial Planner® professionals. He served as its chairman in 2015.
Rich is the author of the book Wealth: The Ultra-High Net Worth Guide to Growing and Protecting Assets, published by Palgrave MacMillan.
Rich holds a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration from Oregon State University and an MBA in finance from San Diego State University. Rich stays fit running, swimming and cycling. He enjoys reading, wine collecting and travel. Rich and his wife Joji have three children and reside in San Diego.
